Throughout February, I have been busy painting. I put new canvas on 3 big 48"x60" stretchers during the last week of January. I have been painting everyday from 8am. I have been averaging 6 to 8 hours a day since the beginning of the month. I will soon post the new works.

Since October I spent more time waiting for phone calls from Doctors than anything else. I was wasting time instead of painting. 5 weeks ago I started to get up early and go to work in the studio. Finally I had enough waiting. I wasn't painting because I was afraid of being interrupted. I finally woke up one morning and said enough. Now I start painting at 8am and work until I can't work any longer. I am currently finishing off my stock of 30/40's. Once that is done I am going to do another major project. Keep watching!

I was just checking my blog and realized that I hadn't posted anything since late August. I have been painting, just a bit and repainting a bit more. Most of my time has been spent on family business. Last year my Father passed away October 1st. and this year my Mother passed away September 25th. which also happens to be our wedding anniversary.The photo I have displayed is one of my Siblings which was taken around 1955. Without the help of my Wife, my Daughters and my Siblings, this last year would have been devastating. Their emotional support has kept me going. So to re-cap my father passed in October 2008, my daughter Janna got married to Travis in May 2009, I had open heart surgery 12 days later, my mother passed in September 2009, I then found out I would have to have more heart surgery in 2010. It's been a busy couple of years.
